We are absolutely LOVING this large patio umbrella that fully shades our 6-seat rectangular patio table.Easy to open and close, with tie straps to secure it when not in use.The construction is robust and the fabric is thick to withstand anything but the most severe weather. Here in Oklahoma, we have to be conscious of wind and severe thunderstorms, so ease of removing the umbrella is important and this one is pretty simple to do.All that being said, the one issue that buyers need to be aware of is the large diameter pole that will NOT fit standard-sized umbrella bases. You will have to seek out a base with a wider opening to secure the umbrella.We also found that in a brisk wind, the umbrella tends to weathervane and it is difficult to tighten the base enough to fully prevent turning in the wind.All in all, we are very pleased with the Umbrella and despite the few annoyances, it is still a strong FOUR STAR rating along with a hearty recommendation if you choose to find a base that fits! I bought the base recommended for this umbrella. The pole will not fit into the base even though the base takes up to 1.9" pole diameter (supposedly) and the umbrella pole is 1.89". So I have this huge umbrella and no way to put it up. Will write to the company. If they help, I'll update this. UPDATE: I've updated this from 1 star to 4 stars. It turns out the pole on the base has a plastic cap on the end that narrowed the base pole so the umbrella pole wouldn't fit in. After I pried the cap off, it fit perfectly. I didn't do that initially because I thought I would have to send it back and didn't want to break it. So all is good and am enjoying some shade on my deck after 13 years of sun. I told the company that they may want to put "remove plastic cap for larger post size" in the directions.

This umbrella comes as advertised. It is a very sturdy and nice looking addition to our pool patio. As stated you do need a very solid and heavy base for it due to the weight and width of the umbrella. This will keep it upright in light winds. I recommend a base with at least 60 lbs weight, or even better, one with 80lbs. The base must be able to accept a 1.9 inch width pole, which is larger than a standard umbrella pole width of 1.25 inches. The listing does have a link to a product that offers a nice base on wheels that fits these criteria perfectly. This base will cost around an additional 100.00. Superjare also offers an umbrella cover for this unit which we purchased for about 35.00 for winter storage. So far we are very happy with all three purchases !

Firstly, the grey is more like a dark sludgy green. The material is not very nice, shiny and cheap looking. Further it is not sturdy. A bit of wind and it cracked and bent the pole. Purchased late last year, but have only put it out and used it for a couple of weeks this year. No free strap was included, but I was prepared to overlook that. Pass, there are much better patio umbrellas for equal price on the market.

It arrives with canopy already attached so “ease of assembly” is pretty much taken care of. Despite its size it can be handled by one person although I recommend against it. It’s as sturdy as any other large umbrella at this price can be expected to be. One important note: monitor the wind carefully. Large umbrellas like this - no matter who makes them - can get damaged pretty easily in a strong wind. And I do NOT recommend it for those tables with glass tops - this needs good support at the base and at table height.

Although this is a great umbrella it is a bit difficult to crank it open. It has twin ropes because of the resistance when cranking it open. Also has a safety pin once you get it open to relive the weight off the ropes. Lots of shade from its size. Remember to put it down on windy days.

This is more of a review about the folks at Kozyard. The original umbrella failed and when I reached out to Kozyard, they were quick to respond and stood behind their product by sending me a replacement immediately. The replacement arrived today as promised. Perfect size for our extendable Applaro IKEA patio dining set that extends to a max of 102 3/8” with both leaves. We live in a rural area so we really wanted to produce shade during the sunny hours but not obstruct the starry night sky at night. Very easy to assemble and the crank is so smooth. I will say that the “beige” is more of a khaki or light tan. My bpatio seat covers are a true beige and the umbrella is much darker but it’s a nice neutral shade and would really well with pretty much anything.

The one of the braces at the top of the umbrella bent after a couple weeks. I have been unable to get any response from the seller to get a replacement part and instructions on how to fix it.EDIT (8/1/18): After I posted this, Kozyard contacted me and fixed the issue. Now I can once again use this umbrella in the backyard this summer. It has great coverage for my patio and is sturdy enough for most conditions here. The only thing I really have to be careful of is the occasional micro-burst. Thanks to Kozyard for taking care of this customer!
