Bought this back in November but I wanted to wait until the weather allowed us to use it before I wrote a review. We just put the patio furniture out two weeks ago and added the umbrella last week. Obviously I can't say anything yet about durability - although it looks and feels like quality material - but it has met or exceeded our initial expectations. This is a real eye catcher in the evenings above our patio table. I was expecting the light to be a series of LEDs more or less blended together by a plastic lens covering, but the actual effect is more like a uniform strip of mellow neon down each spoke of the umbrella - really slick! From the other reviews I was expecting that the light provided would mostly be aesthetic as opposed to practical, but we find that the light will be quite sufficient to allow us to dine or play cards in the evening - yet is subtle enough to allow us to see our surroundings or take in the night sky beyond the shelter of the umbrella. In other words, it's just the right balance between too dim to be useful and so bright as to be overpowering. Living on the prairie, wind is always a consideration for something like this. We've had some windy days since installing it and in its fully extended mode the wind has not seemed to bother it at all. At a tilt the wind will cause it to weathervane, but I think I can easily solve that with either a weighted tether at the low end or by shimming it where the pole goes into our umbrella stand. I would include a picture but I don't think it would adequately reflect the thoroughly satisfying experience this umbrella adds to our outdoor patio environment. I am more than pleased with the purchase and offer my highest recommendation.

When I opened the box I was surprised that this color was so white. When I took it out and put it together and saw that it's like a cheap, white bridal gown and was less than pleased. My husband hates this umbrella. I tried everywhere to find out what lumens are for the lights....nowhere to be found.fully charged it's like being in a dark alley at night with only one dim lightbulb. With it being so white, you can see stitching errors so probably thankful it doesn't really light up anything. Where the ribs are double covered with fabric is where the color you expect to see the entire umbrella look like...don't buy the white. I have no idea if it's sturdy or not but it looks like a 10 year old made this.Sending back if i could afford the postage to do so....but never do so with umbrellas because they cost too much...can only hope it breaks and i am forced to purchase something that looks better

The navy blue material is very thin—thin enough to see clouds in the sky through it. The lights are cheap and don’t always work. The light switch is also cheap and located up at the end of one of the umbrella ribs. Of the three umbrellas I purchased, two of the switches require a little fiddling to get the lights to turn on at all.Aside from those drawbacks, I’ve been using the umbrellas for about a month and am not dissatisfied enough to return them. To their credit the vendor did offer a return on the flaky lights/light switch. However, returning items of this type of unusual size is a hassle so I decided to keep them. Frankly, for their price/quality I kind of expected them to offer to send me a replacement. Had they done that, assuming the replacement did not have the same issues with the lights, I certainly Wouk rate them 2 stars higher. Alas, I’m living with a sub-par product primarily because umbrellas only last a few seasons before they typically need to be replaced anyway. When that time comes I will most definitely not purchase this brand again.

SUCH a disappointment. Bright red, beautiful tomato color when I bought it mid-May of this year. (2018) It's July 24th 2018 now and the umbrella looks oxidized on the top...starting to turn a dusty red at best. I get a long-winded reply back from the mfg stating the fabric is fade-resistant above industry standards, etc.. IT"S NOT FADE RESISTANT if it fades!! I have pictures to prove it (see attached). False advertising and a lame attempt at customer service to tell me the umbrella fading is 'normal'--- ironic in that your own product page says it doesn't fade. Find another umbrella and save yourself the disappointment.

I live in the city but like to feel like I’m in a high end resort while on my deck and this umbrella nailed it!!! It had it for over a week before I noticed the center light. . . I’m beyond thrilled!!! Classy and it provides a ton of shade during the day but wait the beauty doesn’t stop when the sun goes down it just get more gorgeous in the evening. Thrilled!!! Wait did I say that already?? Seller was prompt with shipping came packaged well in perfect condition. Now it’s up to me to keep it secured... in yes sounds crazy.. BUT... in my city wind. I bought a stand from amazon full of cement I pray that is enough to keep this beautiful umbrella secured. So beautiful!!! Pics say it all!!!

I bought a much more expensive patio umbrella a few weeks before. It blew over and a rib broke. Had to send it back. Ordered another that 2 weeks past delivery date was told it could not be delivered until late July. Ordered this one and it came right on time . The ribs are steel and much sturdier than the the more expensive one. It was so easy to assemble too. It went up in only a few minutes. The lights give a nice ambient light. We had a dinner po party and got lots of compliments on the beautiful umbrella. Wish I'd bought this one first! Would have saved so much time and money.

This is a great umbrella for the price. It took no time to set up, the lights work great and the tilt mechanism works perfectly. One must keep in mind the price when reviewing this umbrella: the material is a little thinner than a more expensive brand and the pole is a little smaller, but for far less than $100 delivered, the value is definitely there! As stated in other reviews, there is no tie included to secure it when not in use so I sewed on on with a couple tacks, but you could easily use a bungee or any other tie. My only real gripe is that there is no stand included (but again taking into consideration value for price paid I’m still very satisfied). The pictures imply that it can be used in a table or fee standing, but without a stand specifically made for the umbrella I won’t test it’s strength with a generic stand. Again, the overall value for this umbrella is fantastic and we are very satisfied.

One of the best umbrellas I have seen and used. It came with extra LED bulbs which is always great. It is build solid, excellent fabric, water resistant fabric, very stable, easy to operate and solar charger is always a big plus. It cover my entire 6 chair and table comfortably. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for these types of umbrellas.

Awesome product! The LED lights work great, they're not super bright as to blind you, but enables you to sit outside at night without having a porch light on, while enjoying dinner with company. There is a neat switch inside the umbrella which enables you to turn them off and on with ease.Would purchase again!

In fairness, it was a big wind storm that finally snapped an arm. For the last two years this has been a great umbrella. It is top heavy enough that you need a weight at the base and a table to keep it upright in even a breeze of middling strength. Even after the hard fall the lights still work (except the one right where the arm snapped). The lights have always provided plenty of light to dine by and we have really enjoyed the umbrella. If it hadn't broken we'd still be using it. As it is, I am typing this review sitting under it (with a lopsided cast due to the broken arm). It was stored in my workshop over both Winters and only saw use Spring through Fall which I believe extended the life of the fabric cover. This year, some small holes are appearing but they could be fall-related. For the price, this umbrella was a great value and I have no doubt would have made it through another outdoor dining season if not for the fall.

I purchased this item in Mar 2019 and used it in my home in southern California through the spring, summer and fall of 2020, and put it away for the winter. When there were heavy winds, I would always drop the shade to protect it. After 1 year the cloth is faded and torn, and just today - April 5, 2020, when I was sitting at the table, one of the arms broke away from it's pivot point. The connection at the crank is not very secure and even in light breeze the pole creaks and is not as stable and it should be. For $100 ($99.95) that I paid, the value is not what I'd hoped. Even at today's special price of $85-$89 it is not a good value. I wasn't necessarily looking for a 5 year product (there are brands for ~$250 with a 5 year warranty) but 2 would have been nice.

I purchased several of these led umbrellas by Trademark Innovations in 2015 (new pool installed) and recently replaced a couple that were damaged when I neglected to put them down before a storm. The quality of the newer ones is better (heavier materials) than the ones I first purchased in 2015.I managed to find most via Warehouse Deals (and refurbished this year - like new) and haven't spent more than ~60.00 on the 6.5 x 10 versions - I have 2 of those and 3 of the 9' round ones. If there's ever anything wrong (one was missing the solar panel which was shipped and arrived two days later at no charge) their customer service is outstanding...you don't find that much anymore.I had put one of the big ones up in a small bistro table that had an umbrella hole in it, and it blew over (didn't have a heavy enough base at the time) and seriously scraped up the bottom of the pole. I called to see if I could purchase the bottom pole separately, and they shipped one for no charge. Seriously, their customer service is awesome.When one quit lighting up I emailed about it and they told me that the batteries might need to be replaced. I felt silly that I didn't pay attention to the fact that they had batteries in addition to being little solar panels. You can use regular AA's - rechargeable solar batteries aren't necessary.My only complaint is that the canopies fade pretty quickly, but I leave them up most of the time and they get full Florida sun for most of the day, so I think that's inevitable. I did try some UV protective spray one year, made for boat tops, but it didn't seem to help. I've just end up getting new tops every year or so.I do recommend, especially for the 6.5 x 10 umbrellas, to get a very heavy base/stand. I went with decorative for the first ones that only weighed about 20 lbs and that was a mistake - ended up going with 55 lb concrete bases and haven't had any issues with those.

I just put up this umbrella on my backyard deck this evening. The solar circle that goes on top of the umbrella easily snaps in place. The lights under the umbrella are pretty. I bought this umbrella to tilt into the westward sun late in the day. By the time I had installed it I could see if it was blocking the sun properly and it was. It is a nice large umbrella and the crank handle easily opens up the canopy. However the umbrella does twist a little bit in the wind given the size of the canopy. There is a gentle breeze blowing this evening with some gusts but not too bad. I wish the upper mechanism that holds the canopy in place didn’t spin in the wind. As it is it might be OK. I will update my review in the next day or two once I’ve had a chance to use the umbrella for a few days.Edit: I had to mount the back of the mounting bracket directly to a 4 x 4 upright on my deck because the spindle was too narrow and flexible and I was afraid it might break. When I unscrewed the wing nuts from the bolt I noticed rust. I was hoping the bolts would have been galvanized.I also noticed that when there is more than a slight breeze that the top canopy of this umbrella swivels somewhat. So far it hasn’t broken but it does swivel around the centerpoint by more than a few degrees in each direction. I appreciate that this umbrella is very lightweight so it makes tilting the umbrella up and down very easy.Edit 8-20-19 We had a few heavy gusts of wind blow through recently and I was not home to put the umbrella down. These were not storm level wins but more around 12 to 15 mph with gusts slightly higher. One of the supporting ribs detached from the umbrella center point. When the umbrella is fully open it looks like that rib is bent. I have to see if it’s easy to re-insert. If you live near a windy area I would suggest an alternative to this umbrella. Otherwise it’s been working fine and providing a nice shady spot.Edit: June 2020. The umbrella has been out for almost 2 months for the second summer now. The umbrella fabric now has several holes in it. It looks like it has failed in the direct sun.

This is high quality construction and easy to use. The pole is made of a strong metal but THE POLE is just tiny bit TOO BIG for 1.5" holders that are not adjustable and/or made for 1.5" or smaller poles. Easy-to-use would seem redundant but I've examined other market umbrellas and some are oddly difficult to open, tilt and or/lock into the open position and the AOK market umbrella does each of these as easily as one would expect. Early reviewer status means that I rec'd a $3 credit AFTER I'd reviewed this. I HOPE YOU FOUND THIS HELPFUL!

Very disappointed in the quality. We had an umbrella for our patio furniture that was 5 yrs old and we only replaced it because the material looked so worn. We thought we’d try out a different shape (rectangle instead of round) and thought this was a good choice. We bought March 2020 but due to COVID we didn’t put it up since we weren’t having company. Finally put it out about 2 weeks ago and it already broke. And not just broke, the pole just bent over completely and the metal pieces broke off. Unfortunately since we bought it last year it isn’t under and warranty or anything. Don’t waste your money

I love this umbrella! It arrived yesterday - got here fast. I had read the other reviews, the one that says the solar panel just hangs there - it actually screws in with a half turn and is very secure. Some reviews said it seemed cheap - but I don't find that at all. One mentioned it not being set up correctly out of the box, I cranked mine half way to adjust each pole pocket a tad and it was perfect after these very minor adjustments. The one mentioning it doesn't come with a base is correct; I had a heavy sturdy base, which is what it needs since it's so tall. The ones that talk about height are right on - it's TALL! And I like it that way because it allows you to have more of a view of the yard. It is also very large and the rectangle shape is perfect for my set up. Then there are the lights - SO AWESOME!! Even an on/off switch! I have no light out there, so this is amazing to have this feature. I would buy this again and again!4-24-18 Update: Still using this beauty! The lights still work great. The top of it faded out totally light gray since it's in the constant sun, but the underside (which is all you really see when it is open) is still black. I would still purchase another when this one gives out, but it's still kickin'!! 🙂

I am pretty happy with this umbrella. I love the color, and the LED lights are awesome. Granted, we have not been able to use the umbrella very much since it's currently 32 degrees in April, I'm hoping it will continue to work well. Prior to this one we had a nice wooden umbrella. This is SIGNIFICANTLY less sturdy. However, it is pretty easy to take down because it's two pieces. As long as we remember to get it before a storm, the stability shouldn't be an issue. All in all I am pretty happy about this purchase considering the price. I will update if anything happens.

The tilt on this umbrella is not automatic. It is the most difficult umbrella to tilt and put up. When it needs to be taken down you have to manually press a button and fix the tilt yourself. It is extremely hard to do. and as a woman alone this is quite difficult. I would not recommend anyone waste their money and but this product.

This is great. I got it to put on my table by the pool. It's easy to use and it is easy to open and set up. It keeps the sun off us when where setting at the table. Its is a nice umbrella and I really like the lights on it. We sit at the pool at night and the umbrella gives up a nice light to sit at the table at night with it. Its durable and sturdy and the price is great for a good made umbrella.

The media could not be loaded. Before my husband went overseas he bought 2 of the large wooden cable spools for us to use as tables. This umbrella is a great size for the table. It is very easy to assemble it. It goes up and down easily and the crank shows which way to turn it for up and then to take down. It can tilt and it has lights. It has been a bit cold here to sit under it at night with the lights on and we can't wait for it to wrm up and use it.

Our old umbrella didn’t make it through the season thanks to a storm. This one came promptly and as described with the lights attached. I like the large rectangular shape as it covers all of our rectangular table. We will have to wait until next summer to see if it is really fade resistant. I did get the 3 year insurance which states it will replace for damage caused by storms.

I got this umbrella for my back patio, and I've been very happy with it! It's very large and provides a lot of shade, and the crank feature to open and close it seems sturdy enough. Upon arrival, you have to connect the solar panel to the rest of the umbrella (see photos), and then connect the lower part of the pole to the umbrella, and then you're good to go, so it was very easy to set up. The whole umbrella seems sturdy enough, and it already survived one of our San Diego thunderstorms just fine. The lights are a nice touch, and they add a bit of mood lighting at night. They're not super bright though, so if you want bright lights, you'll want to add some other form of light to your space.Overall, I'm really happy with this umbrella!

Easy to assemble, don’t forget to take the solar box out of the styrofoam, it’s not labeled so it looks like packing. Solar feature is nice, hoping it gets a little brighter tho once the sun charges it. Appears durable-won’t really know until the first windy day. Beware-ordered coffee color but blue is what I got without any communication from seller as to why

I love this umbrella. It’s rectangular shape gives more coverage. The solar panel doesn’t come attached it’s kinda hidden in the box.. I may have accidentally thrown it out but the company was awesome and sent me a replacement no questions asked!

Recently made this purchase to replace, our old, red, faded 6 x 6 ft umbrella. This umbrella is much nicer than expected. After doing much research, I knew I wanted an umbrella that was not round, or square. Living in North Texas, the mid day heat, can really be miserable without shade. I know most fabric does fade in the sun and this is one reason I purchased the blue color. I figured, that if it fades to a light blue, or white, it would look like clouds! How happy! However, to extend the life of the umbrella, I do take it down when not using it. It is so effortless to attach/reattach and I just stick it in the corner of my porch, when not in use. I was happily surprised to see two separate switches, which control two different light options! (See pics). Wow, was I impressed. The light is not harsh and is just bright enough to be able to enjoy a game of cards with friends at night. The two lighting options, gives you enough subtle light and the option to give just a liiiiiitle extra, if desired. (see photos). The crank mechanism, is much smoother that my last $60 umbrella and the tilt mechanism is the same. The solar battery is a Lithium Ion battery that fits only my Nitecore D2 charge, due to its size. However, the solar panel works fine. My only little gripe, is that I wish the solar panel had a stronger, twisting locking mechanism. I am using the Abba Patio Umbrella Base to hold it. Overall, this umbrella is well built, easy to use, easy to detach/reattach to pole. I would absolutely purchase again!Update: I purchased this in 2018 and now it is summer 2021 and still going strong! A little faded in the Texas heat(last photo), but I don’t care. Using a water filled base helps keep it in place, when not in the table. Would still purchase again!

I got this umbrella and was initially pleasantly surprised at its durability and functionality. It provides great coverage and the lights are really super in the evening, providing a lovely glow and ambiance to our deck. The aqua blue is a very summery color and really adds a great punch of color to things. Easy to crank up and down. We can't quite close it 100%, as the arms are a bit longer than our table is high, but i can close about 95% of the way, which is just fine.However, after just 2 weeks it already broke, as one of the "arms" of the umbrella snapped in an extremely small amount of wind. While I realize the instructions indicate that you should close the umbrella when it's windy, you really can't have this open even in the slightest bit of wind. Disappointing to say the least.On the other hand, I cannot say enough nice things about the seller, as we had a bit of an issue with the original umbrella we received, which was quickly and easily resolved....and with a smile. Yet now I'm stuck with a broken umbrella, along with the original defective one.

We bought this for Mother's Day for my daughter. She was thrilled. It brightens the patio, shades the table, and works great. It even matches the set of umbrellas her neighbors have. The one down-side, I thought, was that the tie to secure the umbrella closed is only a foot or so from the top. Not even my son-in-law can reach over the table and secure it. He has to climb on a chair. It would be much better if the tie was a foot up from the bottom.

We bought this set last year and love the shape of the umbrella and all of the features. However, one of the umbrellas snapped in half soon after purchasing the set (last summer). These umbrellas are not very sturdy, no matter how heavy/solid the base is! Needless to say, we have to hold the umbrella steady through every strong gust of wind that comes our way so it won't tip over (we live in an area pretty sheltered area by trees). Our thoughts...the pole should probably have a larger radius and stronger composition to accomodate the shape and size of the umbrella. Also, the best stand to go with would be a heavier sand-based one.

Great umbrellas for the price and awesome customer service! Be aware if you are in an area that gets a great deal of wind you need a bigger/heavier base.
