The media could not be loaded. I was nervous after reading several negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised upon its arrival. There were no broken parts and it was incredibly easy to assemble. We had it out of the box and assembled in under 5 minutes. We purchased a heavy base knowing how windy it can get on a daily basis and with that we have had no problems. We just roll it down when the wind gusts are over 20mph.We are pleased with our purchase and definitely feel that it was worth the money. If you too, are concerned by the negative reviews I would say give it a try. Be smart with your purchase, add a sturdy base and roll it down when it gets extra windy.

I got this several months ago and wanted to wait to see how it held up to the elements. I've been real pleased with the sturdiness of the product with the high winds I get, and even with summer's dust and pollen, the solar panel is still working to power the lights. The lights really give off an great, clear, but unobtrusive illumination. Sufficient to hang out with friends or read a book, not so bright as to annoy the neighbors. Only complaint is the fabric fades from too much direct sunlight. I bought the tan, so all shades of it are acceptable to my space.

We've only used this a few times. Today is not a particularly windy day but this umbrella's METAL snapped and shattered a pot with a 3 yr old gogi berry in it and hit my new arborvitae. Super upset right now and expect a refund or new one sent out asap. This umbrella already had a piece of plastic broken when it arrived that I should have told seller about. My mistake.

I really like this umbrella and everything was going great until the second day of enjoying we had some moderate wind yesterday and the pole kinked when the wind caught the umbrella! The pole is definitely a thin metal aluminum type material which is why it bent so easily however I didn’t expect it to happen so quickly! Now what am I supposed to do?! An inexpensive umbrella is only a good deal if you don’t have to buy replacement parts less than a week into using it. I’m definitely disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for? I’m just glad no one was hurt.

Very very disappointed! Umberella is literally tearing apart, and unfortunately due to rain last month and we not using the umbrella and keeping it in the garage, I only just saw this defect and the window has closed to return it. Very dissatisfied

Bought the model with solar light. I had very high hopes for this umbrella, but unfortunately, the moment I opened it up, the top of the canvas fell off from the pole. The pole is attached to the canvas via a plastic adapter, and that plastic adapter is very fragile. The manufacture should have used metal instead. Had to return it to Amazon.

Right off the bat this umbrella seems great. Super cute solar lights.....two weeks later the material is falling apart!! The sems are coming unraveled. I am having to sew the sems. The areas around the prongs where the material is sewn is ripping at EVERY single sem. You can see light through all of them. At this rate I would be shocked if it lasted even the summer.

Just had it less than a month, and the solar panel is under direct sun. I only turned it on a couple of nights, and it was nice when it worked. But now the lights don't turn on. Missed the return window by one day.

On just opening the box the fabric struck me as very much on the cheap side. Bummer. This is what kills the life of an outdoor umbrella. Also fabric edging on the top frayed and top opening just cut, no reinforcement.Pole and ribs seem good. Been cloudy here (WI) so have not been able to check out the lights (which I am excited about and why I decided to go with this umbrella.

We love this umbrella and we think it was really nice except for one thing so I had to only give it 4 stars, now this might just be our unlucky choice, but our umbrella had so many strings/threads left hanging on it when we got it from the sewing process that we had to get out the scissors and cut about 100 strings off it was terrible....but now that we cleaned it all up its really nice. Such a pretty color and we love it!! But that issue should of been caught by quality control. So I hope its just that ours snuck through with out being checked.

Like so many things today, this product looks great and functions well in a vacuum. Put this patio umbrella outside and actually use it and you're doomed. I've had this umbrella for about 4 weeks and used it a handful of times. Last night a very light gust of wind caused the frame to shatter and the tilt joint to break. The falling umbrella also managed to take out a wall sconce. What a bonus!!! Hardly a breeze and the thing practically explodes. This is a piece of crap. I'm completely dissapointed. ---- DO NOT BUY!!!!!

The umbrella is about what you would expect for the money. The fabric seems nice and the sturdiness is good. The diameter of the pole is NOT 1.5 like the description says though. When I read 1.5 I bought it thinking it was 1.5 inches and would fit in an umbrella sleeve by my pool. It is just under 2 inches in diameter.

Ordered Gray and white stripe and that's what the box said but was actually black and white stripe. No problem I can still make it work, once out of the box, you absolutely cannot get it back in! Put it together and into the stand, will not even stand up it's so heavy!! Not even when it's closed will the stand hold it. Very pretty, terribly made stand. Definitely do not recommend.

Came quickly, Super easy to assemble. I connected the solar cable, screwed the solar panel to the top, connected the poles and it was ready to put up! The lights came charged which was a happy surprise as we were able to use it right away. The umbrella lights are plenty bright to enjoy a summer night outside. Our old umbrella didn't have lights so I used the LED umbrella disc light seen in the pictures. This works great to add a little bit more light if needed but it's battery operated so I prefer to use the solar powered lights more often. The fabric of the umbrella is slightly reflective and the 9ft span is larger than most patio umbrellas which helps shade throughout the day as the sun moves. I'm so pleased with this purchase. I will say the pole is made of a lighter aluminum that I has hoping for but it seems to be holding up, even in moderate gusts of wind. I also wish the fabric vents in the top were larger so it wouldn't catch the wind as much which shakes the table a little. Still, overall it seems this umbrella will do the job. It functions amazingly for the price.

It was time to replace my former patio umbrellas that had a good run. I found these on Amazon based on other reviews and for its color scheme. I was intrigued to see the the solar lights. I love to decorate for night time use and it seemed a natural fit. I ordered 2 one for the patio table, and another for a tripod umbrella stand my spouse built for grilling. He is a dedicated grill man rain, shine, day, or night. The solar lights may come in handy for those late night grills. The images above show the gray and black stripe pattern. I included the tilted umbrella image so you can see the pattern, and that the solar panel that is mounted on the top . The solar panel will illuminate the lights on the bottom spokes come night time. I did read someone had trouble with the crank. It is similar to my former umbrella, so I manual lift up a spoke or two and slide my hand up to find the crank if it had been tightly closed. The crank is labeled to alert the user as to which way to twirl the crank to open or close it. It does have a Velcro tie strap to fully secure the closed umbrella.

We just needed something affordable so we took a gamble on this Amazon recommendation. So here’s the pros and cons that got it the 3 stars.Pros:* easy assembly (align the lower pole with the umbrella and click, the screw on the cap. Done)* large coverage (9ft is plenty to cover our picnic table)* tilt feature is simple to access and seemingly works well so far* umbrella tie is long and low enough for me to tie with no problems (I’m 5’9”)Cons:* umbrella canopy tubing is very thin & joints seem very weak* raise crank is difficult to crank (up & down)* shaft is small (it fits a standard base but has a lot of wiggle room even with the friction clamp as tight as possible)* up/down direction label on crank is marked incorrectly (so weird)* seams have stitching holes that are rather larger (looks really bad when you look up from underneath)All in all, you get what you pay for. It’s not great & if it lasts the whole summer we’ll have gotten our money’s worth. Go into it knowing it’s a throw away.

We bought 2 of these in Sept 2020. The navy blue and white striped. 1 came damaged, so they were kind enough to replace it. When we got the second one, we put them out on our patio/pool deck. They were gorgeous and my backyard felt like a resort! After about 2 months, we could see a little fading, but wasn't too bad. Now, by March, the umbrellas have definitely changed color to purple and white. I'm so bummed. So, back to shopping for two new umbrellas before summer. I would highly recommend using some type of fabric protector on these, or keeping them covered in an umbrella cover when not in use. We are in FL, so they are used throughout winter as well. I wish we could be sent replacements or a partial refund to purchase new umbrellas.

This must be my first ever negative review, but I have to warn buyers- It is a waste of money! Very poor construction, and not sturdy at all.One gust of strong wind ( Texas storm) and one umbrella snapped in the middle, and the other had a couple of spokes completely broken. Yes, I bought 2 and now have to throw away both even before they are a month old. So save your $$!I wish I could just get my money back!

This really perked up a dull area of our back yard. It looks high end and feels like you're at The Viceroy resort in Palm Springs or something. The ONLY complaint I have is that it's been impossible to get the wrinkles out of the fabric. It was shipped rolled up (of course) so it has some wrinkles (of course) but I've been hoping they'd go over time and they haven't really after six weeks. I wish I knew some way to get them out! Otherwise great and very fairly priced.

This umbrella is beautiful and stylish. The quality of the fabric and ease of operation (don’t have to stand on my tip toes to tilt) are pluses. Ive purchased cheap umbrellas every year for the deck of my beach house. They never make it to the end of the summer. They fade, break or mildew. I think the price is reasonable, too. I’m sure I’ve picked a winner this time.

This umbrella is FANTASTIC for the price! I replaced a $100.00+ umbrella I've had for a little over a year that is faded and dirty. This umbrella does the EXACT SAME THING! It creates shade -- yes, it's that easy. Why spend $100 (or even $50) when this item looks good and does the same function? Umbrellas need to be replaced every few years (any brand any price) so why not think smarter and get this one? I am extremely happy with the item! Setup took less than 1 minute (true story). I like this umbrella because it has sturdy spines and base instead of those thin wiry spines on some umbrellas. Much better to hold up to being upended in the wind. It also has the tilt feature which is great to be included in this price point. The cloth covering is thick and will hold up to the elements. Also, the size is perfect. I had a 9' on my deck and it was always blowing into the yard even when I had it tied down with bungee cords.

I L O V E this umbrella....it fits in my courtyard so perfectly and the scalloped edge adds a little "retro 30's"drama to the effect. It is very sturdy ...the only thing missing was a "strap" to hold it closed tightly. I had purchased a much cheaper black and white umbrella last month and it came with an attached strap. but I had a friend fashion a black strap with velcor from something else and now it's perfect. Just a suggestion.....attach a strap.

Nearly twenty years ago, my wife and I purchased a rather expensive set of Homecrest patio furniture, inevitably, the fabrics including the umbrella rotted to the point that we had to replace all of the fabric parts. We couldn't obtain a new umbrella top, so we purchased another rather expensive umbrella. It, too, fell apart and needed replacing the fabric. I searched for replacements, and "cheaped out" by purchasing one of these replacement canopies. I was able to make the switch in less than ten minutes, and now have, for all intents and purposes, a new high-quality patio umbrella for less than twenty bucks. Even if it only lasts for a couple of years, I can replace it again and again for less than the cost of a new fancy one. I like it!!

The media could not be loaded. The video and picture show the umbrella open over a 84 x 30“ table if you’re curious about size. It is massive! It’s extremely high quality. Putting it together was pretty easy. It would’ve went a lot smoother with two people, so keep that in mind! That said, assembly was not at all complicated whatsoever. When the umbrella is fully extended the base is very far away, meaning it extends out over whatever needs shade with nothing (the base) in the way. As far as deploying the umbrella it’s extremely easy with the crank arm! My grandmother could effortlessly open it up all the way. In fact, I was surprised at how little strength it required. It even came with a nice little bonus Velcro strap to wrap up the umbrella when it is not in use.I would absolutely purchase again. I hope this was helpful!

* Very Nice appearance* Easy to use, but challenging to move because of the weight and awkwardness* Some of the screws were only electroplated, however, bolts/nuts were stainless steel (#304 SS is not salt-tolerant; #316 SS is salt tolerant--no way to know here but my guess would be #304 SS--we'll see)* Connecting plate on the bottom of base is secured with SS rivets that broke during moderate winds of 10-15 mph, which means the unit lost much of its lateral support. I was able to make the repair by using a 22" strip of heavy aluminum that I screwed securely to the broken framework . . . much stronger now.* During those moderate winds, several of the bolts holding the umbrella head came undone and couldn't be found. After conferring with Amazon rep, they contacted the company and within just a few days I received replacement bolts. That means a lot that they first of all, had the parts on-hand; and secondly, that they took care of business promptly, which is something to be said for this company.* Recommendation: Redesign the metal base with a cross-member stiff-back that will be strong enough to support lateral stresses that are bound to exist when moderate wind forces are applied.* Apply a "Lock Tight" coating on all of the bolts/nuts to prevent them from coming apart with any rocking movement of the unit.

We like the umbrella and the mechanics but after we filled it with water we did exactly what they did in the demonstration video and rocked it back onto its wheels and rolled it to the other side of our flat patio. After making the 10 foot trek we noticed a water leak near the back left (when standing behind the wheels looking direct at the unit) wheel. It appears that a seam separated where the provided metal shaft used by the wheel meets the plastic. The unit now drains (in about 2 days) to a point where it is very top heavy and I wouldn't want to use it. I will be locating the seller and asking about a replacement part. I'll report back on what happens next.Update 1/4/2021.I'm delayed in my feedback but I have good news. It is positive feedback.Within 2 days of my reporting the issue to the seller they asked me for a picture of the damaged product and promptly sent me a replacement base that also included a supplemental sandbag weight kit. I have to say that I am very pleased with this seller and would absolutely recommend them and would do business with them again.The only thing I'd add about the product that I would suggest that you drain at least 25% of the water before you move the unit to another location since the posts that hold the wheels may puncture the plastic base rendering water retention impossible. You may need some sort of pump to suck the water out but you can get hand vacuums pretty cheep compared to the cost of replacing this unit if you are out of warranty. Otherwise this is a very nice product and after 3 or so years we will probably buy another when the extra UV coatings we have added to the product break down the fabric loses its ability to hold up.

Ordered this umbrella April 7th. Was so impressed with the quality and price I ordered two more. Now, just three weeks into having these umbrellas I couldn't believe how much they have faded. All three that I ordered were green. The first one I got has been up for less than three weeks and has turned completely blue. It is still green underneath but I am amazed at how quickly the sun impacted the outside. While they were a bargain and seem to be well made it is clear that, even though they may remain intact, they will look terrible by summer's end. This is not a quality product and I would not recommend.Update 5/13/2020. Received an email from the supplier offering a $45 refund (purchased 3 umbrellas) if I would remove my review. Several days later received a second email again offering a $45 refund if I would remove my review or change it to 5 stars. Pretty poor way of doing business and trying to manipulate the review process

Bought this product with high hopes only to be disappointed by the product and company. We had it for only half the summer. One of the umbrella poles broke and another bent with less than four uses. I wouldn’t be as upset if someone had responded to my many emails.

We got this umbrella to place in our pool (there is a hole in the steps on the shallow end designed for an umbrella) and it looks perfect and provides some much needed shade. The blue and white stripes look great too! The problem is that when I took it out of the plastic wrap it came in, the piece that the round ball is supposed to screw into had broken off the top. I'm going to try to contact the company to get a replacement top piece (that isn't broken).EDITED: I tried to contact the company and never heard back (only able to "provide feedback" to company, not contact them directly. We are going to need to return this for a brand new one that hopefully isn't broken!

Umbrella itself seems to be OK quality however mine came covered in these little stains all over. The seller advised to use water to remove however it will not come off with water or soap and water. I wasn’t offered a replacement. I’ll be returning.

Upon submitting a 1-star review for this umbrella in August (broke on second use ironically a couple days outside the return/replacement timeframe), the company immediately reached out to me to rectify the situation by offering me a refund or replacement umbrella. The second umbrella has performed well, much better than the first. My 4-star review reflects a 5-star experience for excellent customer service (and a second umbrella that has worked well) reduced by one star for the first umbrella experience.

I say in the case of this umbrella, it’s better qualify than you’d expect for the price. No, this is not a luxury style patio umbrella, the material is sort of thin. But the color is beautiful, it provides a good amount of shade, and has held up so far through multiple heavy rain storms where I live.If you are looking for a quality item with a really good price point, this is your umbrella. If your looking for the Mercedes of patio umbrellas, prob best to look at a higher price point.

The media could not be loaded. Got my umbrella the other day and finally got to take it out of the box and use it today. There are some reviews saying the fabric billows and I immediately checked upon delivery and thought “‘mannn they’re right, I hate to return this since I think I got it for a good price and it looks and feels good too”. So put it back in the box. Took it out again couple hours later to show my husband but upon further examination realized the metal ribs actually need to be extended so the fabric won’t billow. I hope this helps those who are contemplating on getting this. So far I like it. The only downside is that there’s no tie to fasten it down for when you have the umbrella closed but that’s not a deal breaker. I’m pretty sure I can find an easy fix for that around the house. I just bought this and it’s pretty new so I can give two thumbs up so far. I’ll update if things change. (I’m attaching a video showing what I’m talking about extending the ribs.)
