Great umbrella! The solar lights are on the blueish side but do cast a nice glow to sit under and converse. The small on and off switch is a nice feature and the light beige color is more off white which is what I wanted. It is a very nice white. It also seems to be pretty durable as mine blew over in some heavy winds and survived unscathed.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE late 2020:The mast snapped in half with slight wind. Junk. Read on…END UODATEUnbelievably unstable and noisy in the slightest breeze. Since day one.We have a similar umbrella, adjacent to this one, purchased from a local big box retailer for a little more cost, and it’s 200 times better than this piece of junk. Our other lighted umbrella purchased at the big box store has beautiful natural white LED lighting. The one reviewed here has that terrible, bluish super white and very dated and poor quality LED technology, and it’s incredibly dim compared to the other one.I am going to trash this noisy, floppy piece of junk and purchase another big box model which is solid as a rock.Caveat emptor.

Out of the box impressed! Didn’t feel this woul likely be a top grade umbrella given the price but I must say I think I stand corrected. The actual canopy material is much thinner than the one I paid about 4 times as much for but I have to say the pole is much better and that’s what I needed most. My pole had the tilt pin break out during a bad storm so I just needed the rod to replace the broken one but I’m so impressed that I’m going to use it as new out of the box and if the canopy fades I’ll just switch them out at that time. I think anyone would be very pleased with this at this price! If not, you must be difficult to please. just my honest opinion. The solar lights even worked right out of the box and the umbrella was neatly packaged with extra care to ensure mint condition on delivery!Ps.... it is a true burgundy/wine. Not red at all.

Received this umbrella and loved it, but like many others, our solar lights did not work. In spite of this, we loved the color and size so we ordered a 2nd umbrella to store. When the 2nd one was delivered there were instructions included, which were omitted from the 1st. The Instructions say to unscrew the solar panel on the top of the umbrella and insert the battery connector, which is just a plug, and replace the solar panel. Now the lights work. Hope this info is helpful.

I purchased the tan 10ft round umbrella over the summer, it had been holding up rather well, until I forget to close it during a recent thunderstorm. The wind picked it up about 2ft and then dropped it back down. When this happened, 3 of the clear caps fell off the lights and they stopped working. I emailed the company and asked if I could get a couple new caps, just to check if that was why it stopped working, but I didn’t expect anything because of all the reviews complaining about the company’s radio silence. I figured I’d give them a week to get back to me, then just use my old solar umbrella lights on it because the umbrella itself didn’t get hurt. I emailed on a Saturday afternoon, and Tuesday afternoon the UPS man is standing on my porch holding my replacement umbrella! I dug through my emails and found their response about wanting to make their customers happy, and that they were sorry for my inconvenience and wanted to make it right by sending me a new umbrella. Now I have 2 umbrellas, but I’ve contacted the local senior home, and I’m going to wire my spare solar lights onto the umbrella and donate it with some spare solar path lights placed into some tiki torches to their outdoor garden area.

Pay attention to the 1 star reviews, I wish I had. Almost all say the same thing that the joint that allows it to tilt to the side, breaks. I didn’t even open mine fully or try to tilt it before it completely broke under just the weight of the umbrella. Totally light weight plastic, worthless for a joint.Update: dealing with customer service has been a joke. Dropped off at a fedex with the preprinted label and waited 2 business weeks and heard nothing. Took two emails to get my refund after I got confirmation myself from fedex that it had a arrived and been signed for.

Box arrived, we set it up, all quite easy.Put it outside through the center of the table & locked it in place.LED's work well, its construction is fairly sturdy, BUT..... the lovely forest green umbrella we purchasedfaded to pale blue within 20 days & continues to do so. I suspect by the end of summer it will be very close towhite. For this reason alone I don't recommend it even though it is well built.I'll give it 2 stars simply because the LED's work it charges up well & is fairly solid construction, not at all worth what they are asking for it price wise.Just for comparison our supermarket 39$ umbrella didn't fade until halfway through its second summer. But 20 Days??, that's just pure BS!!!If aesthetics count for you don't touch this thing with a barge pole....If it were priced at say, $39.99 might be worth it otherwise keep scrolling & searching. Good luck!UPDATE:1 LED's stopped working several weeks ago2 The crank cord for raising & lowering the umbrella snapped. Took it to local guy who specializes in fixing these things & other expensive patio items. I was told it was poorly made not worth repairiing."not your fault" he said, people get suckered into buying these things all the time.3 The tilt joint is so poorly milled that its always askew no matter what you do.4 In 2 days time from writing this update, its trash day & IT WILL be trashed WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!!All in all a bad product, it lasted 4 months, 4MONTHS??? Our $39.99 supermarket umbrella is back in the middle of our table & is standing straight, not askew & although a little faded doing whats required of it...

So we got this one because we did not want to spend too much, and end up with the wrong size or one that only lasted for one year and have to buy again. We have been pleasantly surprised. The crank up/down mechanism seems much more sturdy that we expected given the cost. The material is thick enough to hold out the sun during our Florida early summer heat---it's been over 90 several days already. We store it in the down position, but sitting in our umbrella stand outside on the porch in the sun.I'd recommend this one to anyone. Right now, I think we are going to get multiple years out of it--I don't see any wear on it at all and we've been using it for a couple months or so, but only crank it up/down every couple of weeks so far given the weather. It seems to be an inch or two smaller than advertised in diameter, but it works for the space. There is a stop to keep you from cranking it too high--seems nothing will happen to that. My guess is that the first thing to go will be whatever is inside that pulls it up, but you can't see that. The pole itself looks nice and classy enough to pass by anywhere. It fits inside our standard diameter umbrella stand.

We ordered this umbrella on July 1st, and less than 3 weeks later it's broken in half. The umbrella itself is in great condition, and the lights work. There is a small metal "button" where the upper and lower half of the umbrella pole connects, and that little metal button broke. I don't know if this is normal for others or just a faulty umbrella. Otherwise, the solar panel is fine and the button to turn the lights on and off works great, the color is a pretty summer aqua that looks great. Just need to get a better way to attach both ends of this umbrella pole together.

Update. Down to 4 stars- I still really like it but the cantilever locking mechanism slides down when it gets hot out.I have seen a couple reviews where they complain about the base, but if you are just going to build it into a wall (what I did) or put it in concrete in the ground this is the one. And honestly if I may suggest--skip the $500 ones and pay someone to install it. Mine is in the wall, collared at the top so it can't come out, resting on the base so it can swivel 360 degrees. If I didn't have a handy wall, I'd have put it in concrete in the ground but in that case I'd be more limited in my swivel.Cheap, sturdy, easy to use, the lights are built into the rails, and they stay on all night from a charge.Reasons it doesn't get 5 overall (the solar panel is really hard to put in (enough that I was worried I would break it putting it in) and the color is off. I ordered Maroon, and its closer to Ferrari red. Shrug. When the material dies in the AZ sun I'll pick a fabric in the exact color I want and use the frame.

Suggestion when you buy this item buy the base at the same time also a cover to protect from the elements, and you may want to consider other items with more powerful lightbulbs, my current one is very low dim!

Keep your money it’s horrible I had this umbrella a week and it broke doesn’t do well with a little wind the base is super week for such a big umbrella save your money it’s not worth it at all
April 4, 2022
Wrong color (I ordered blue!), but got here a week earlier than expected. Solar lights work great. Best of all, was fine in a wind that was making my cantilever umbrella swing like crazy and start to tip. This one just puffs out a little in the wind, doesn't even scare the cats. I've only had it a few days, though, will update if it misbehaves.Update: It did take flight in maybe 30-35mph wind. No damage, yay! I usually fold it up before a storm. In this case it was overnight & not warned.Oh! And hang the tie on the same rib as the switch so you can find the switch in the dark.

The media could not be loaded. I really want to like this umbrella - I'm a little skeptical at this time primarily because the actual umbrella pole itself (not the part that attaches into the base) seems very loose, which causes the whole umbrella to sway excessively during a light/moderate breeze (I'm moving it manually in the video to demonstrate). It may be perfectly normal - it just seems excessive. The material also seems to be very thin - the other day it was excessively hot & I was sitting under the umbrella & could still feel the sun's heat radiating down on me. The color of the umbrella is Coffee (which is a darker color), which combined with how hot it was, could account for that.We had the remnants of a tropical storm yesterday - the umbrella was closed & tied and seemed to survivor fine. We also have an 85lb base (purchased here @ Amazon), which the umbrella fits perfectly into & offers great stability below where the umbrella itself snaps in.However this morning when opening the umbrella, the crank slipped a few times - I'm hoping that it was because of the internal gear mechanism being wet & not eminent of a failure,As I mentioned in the title, I really want to like the umbrella (the lights are gorgeous at night). If I knew it would last, I would give it 5*. At the end of the season (around 4-6 weeks) I'll amend the review & stars if it is allowed.UPDATE - after 1 year...My initial concern for the stability of the umbrella fortunately didn't come to fruition. The umbrella was put away for the winter in a shed. When I took it out in the spring, I noticed that the exterior color wasn't nearly as vibrant as the interior color. As the season progressed, the color difference is much more noticeable - the exterior color is now more of a dark off-white. Picture attached of nterior flipped over exterior. The fabric also seemed to have stretched a bit, as the umbrella fabric slips out of the sleeves every time the umbrella is opened - I may use Velcro or similar to try to address this issue. And there is a small tear in one section of the fabric - unfortunately, as much as I wanted to like this umbrella, I don't think it'll last much longer, because the fabric doesn't seem to be that durable. Perhaps the other colors aren't affected by the fading, but the coffee/mocha color is.As such, I have lowered my * rating to 3*

I ordered this after two other umbrellas broke within days of putting them up. I admit there was a light breeze, but nothing that would have damaged the umbrella that was previously there and had gotten old. This umbrella was reasonably priced and has the extra vents to protect against wind damage in a breeze. Now I haven't had it too long but it already has outlasted the last two. So, so far I am happy. I would

The media could not be loaded. Shipped on time, took out of package and installed it by direction (easy and direct). Took outside and put it onto my table. Later that night tried lights, worked fine. About month later without even using lights since that first day I decided was a nice night to have people over and sit on deck and have a few cold ones. So as I opened Umbrella and tried turning on lights it would turn on for a split second and turn off? I tried again same thing. now it wont even turn on. 100% sunny day. Very disappointed in the quality of the electricals. The Fabric seems sturdy and hasn't faded at all but the lights...Thats the reason I got this thing.

Nice umbrellas. I previously had light up LED umbrellas from a more expensive store (something like Kohl's or Bed Bath & Beyond, not sure it was a gift) and after those had blown over and broke, I needed a replacement. This umbrella fit the bill because it had LED's just like my old one, and since I needed two, the price was right. My old umbrella was around $200, so getting two of these for less than that was a huge plus. This definitely isn't as good as the higher priced umbrella and doesn't have as many features. Old umbrella had a wired plug that could be used if the battery was dead and a switch that was located slightly above the hand crank. This umbrella's switch is on one of the splines (I guess that's what you call them) and is pretty cheap. One of my umbrellas came with a lot of loose threads on the canopy, which I simply scissored off.One of them already fell into my pool, despite being in a weighted umbrella stand and being closed. Luckily, no structural damage was done to the umbrella. The solar panel that held the battery was rusted by the time I got home and opened it up and the positive battery wire was disconnected. I was pleased to find a nice sized 18650 battery inside. I'm electrically inclined, so I'll clean up the contacts and solder the battery lead back onto the terminal, which should fix it. The battery should allow the lights to last a good number of hours but I haven't had good enough weather to sit out all night with the lights on to test this.Overall, a great umbrella for the price! Don't expect it to last forever, but for how cheap they are you can probably replace them every year without breaking the bank.

We needed a new Umbrella for our pool deck and came across this one during our search. It was on sale for a good price. I ordered it and received it within a week's time. I read the reviews prior to the purchase and the biggest complaint I came across was the lights or some of the lights not working. For me the lights were just a bonus and not a necessity. Took ours out of the box and set it up and the first night we turned it on sure enough one arm of the lights did not and does not work. We tried the replacements and they didn't fix the problem. But, as I mentioned before, they were just a bonus so no biggie. However, if there was one thing that they could definitely change on this umbrella it needs to be where the placement of the handle for opening and closing the umbrella is placed. You have to pull on the bottom of the umbrella to open it slightly to reach your hand up into it to reach the handle and then turn it to finish opening it the remainder of the way. First one we have owned where the handle was not easily accessible. If not for that issue I would have rated this 5 stars.

The umbrella is beautiful, looks great in my deck. We screwed it to the wood so it does't tip, haven't had any issues with that. It is easy to set up and use. But the most important thing to know is that you can be confident that if anything happens Tangkula has great customer service. When it arrived the LED lights were not working. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded with troubleshooting. When it didn't work still, we were offered several solutions all to our benefit and ease. We ended up with a second umbrella, this time it works perfectly and both of them make our deck look like those you see on a magazine.

I don’t know what people are complaining about this umbrella is beautiful and perfect soft light for night, not in your face bright! Four stars only because it dosen’t go off in the morning stays on so you have to manually turn it off every morning. Not a big deal but a timer would be ideal. We screwed the base to the wood deck so the base tipping is not a problem for us.

The umbrella and stand assembled quickly out of the box and it works well. One of the small plastic lights was broke when I unpacked however the remaining lights all work and I did not purchase due to the lights.I positioned heavy masonry pavers over the base as counterweight and it appears to be well balanced and stationary. The base is designed for these pavers or to be bolted down to a wood deck if you have one. The price I paid was well below many other similar products so my expectations were not really high and it has far exceeded those expectations. It will take time to tell the true quality of the fabric and steel/aluminum components. For now it is exactly what we wanted.

The media could not be loaded. I was nervous after reading several negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised upon its arrival. There were no broken parts and it was incredibly easy to assemble. We had it out of the box and assembled in under 5 minutes. We purchased a heavy base knowing how windy it can get on a daily basis and with that we have had no problems. We just roll it down when the wind gusts are over 20mph.We are pleased with our purchase and definitely feel that it was worth the money. If you too, are concerned by the negative reviews I would say give it a try. Be smart with your purchase, add a sturdy base and roll it down when it gets extra windy.

I got this several months ago and wanted to wait to see how it held up to the elements. I've been real pleased with the sturdiness of the product with the high winds I get, and even with summer's dust and pollen, the solar panel is still working to power the lights. The lights really give off an great, clear, but unobtrusive illumination. Sufficient to hang out with friends or read a book, not so bright as to annoy the neighbors. Only complaint is the fabric fades from too much direct sunlight. I bought the tan, so all shades of it are acceptable to my space.

We've only used this a few times. Today is not a particularly windy day but this umbrella's METAL snapped and shattered a pot with a 3 yr old gogi berry in it and hit my new arborvitae. Super upset right now and expect a refund or new one sent out asap. This umbrella already had a piece of plastic broken when it arrived that I should have told seller about. My mistake.

I thought my solar lights did not work. Reading the reviews I found other people complained of this. THEN, I read one review that shared if they do not work, uncover the solar panel battery ( easy twist off) and connect the plug inside. Replace the the cover and voila, they lights worked even though it is very sunny. Whoever wrote that original review, I send you applause and a big thanks. I guess some came connected and others do not. It should come with instructions just in case.

This snapped after the first wind gust. I had it 3 weeks. I have always tied the umbrella arms to an adjacent tree, and it's always worked. My old umbrellas lasted many years. This one lasted 3 weeks due to much thinner base tube wall thickness. I'm disappointed because I like the lights with switch. In the photos you might be able to see the wind load transmits thru a very small cross-sectional area of the cast tilt adjustment hinge down to the base. And the base is not much thicker than a soup can so it fails as you would expect. Very disappointed.

This umbrella seemed to be well made, but looks can be deceiving. I bough it in April 2019 and used it 1 summer. I always took care of it like every umbrella i've owned. I have a cover for it when it's not open and when it's closed it always had a bunge around it to keep the wind from opening it. I just went out to put the umbrella down and cushions inside and the whole umbrella pole snapped in half right where the tilt button is!! There was zero wind today! I am so disappointed... i loved the look of it and the lights on it but none of that matters if the pole is made of cheap pott metal/plastic. What a waste of money. Other umbrellas of had usually last 3 or 4 years at least, as long as you take care of them.

I just received this umbrella and there is nothing wrong with it.Unfortunately, I'm looking for something sturdier that can handle more than a gentle breeze.Pro: Love the blue color.Cons: When the umbrella arm is fully extended, it wobbles a bit too much, even under a gentle breeze, almost as if the umbrella was held by a single, tiny string. Also, under the same conditions, the main support pole (1.9inch) definitely shows a bend to it, as if it could not support the weight of the umbrella. Finally, the material (200gsm) will not last more than a season or two.Maybe, this is what you get for $150. And if you are looking for something to use in a protected patio, this is the item for you, since it looks nice, and is easy to assemble. In my case, I am looking something that can handle a bit more wind, and that will last longer.

This was a great deal based upon the prices I’ve seen elsewhere. Quality is not bad. I’ve seen better locking and raising mechanisms on higher priced umbrellas but I can live with this for the money. Lights are great. I just screwed the base into my deck. Did not need that additional base. Suggest purchasing a cover for longevity.

June 25, 2021
I ordered the reddish umbrella, the color impressive and pleasing to my significant other. product seems well constructed, material of the umbrella seems thick enough for its purpose of sun protection. i cannot comment whether the fabric is water repellent. I cannot comment whether the fabric will fade with sun exposure. typical of most umbrellas i have had, the cable to raise and lower the shade is of braided cord: cannot comment about the longevity before the cord fails, but it seems substantial enough to last a few seasons. I like the fact that this umbrella has an articulating joint which may be useful depending on the sun position. one thing i did notice is that it is possible to lower the umbrella past its lowest point, and am unsure if doing so will damage the cord system for raising and lowering the unit: there fore, I would caution against over cranking to lower the umbrella. delivery was timely, right on the advertised date. all in all, i am particularly pleased with the umbrella, and am surprised that such seeming quality can be had for such a low price.UPDATE: i have to revise my original review, from 5 stars to 4 stars, as after 6 months, the umbrella has suffered significant fading. the original maroonish color is now sunbleached. this may be a universal issue for umbrellas in our searing Texas sun, for i noticed my neighbor's red umbrella has suffered the same change. perhaps a better choice would have been a white or tan color? the mechanics of the umbrella, however, remain sound. btw, it may be wise for the reader to tie a cord around the bottom of the closed umbrella, as wasps love the confines of the umbrella, welcoming the unsuspecting with a nasty sting when opening!!

So huge! LOL So far, so great! Its quality is durable and thick. I wish it came with a storage back, but that's not too important. Certainly shouldn't be a deal breaker if your comparing items like I did. I went with this umbrella because the pictures showed it to be a better coffee brown than the other two I was looking at. I'm glad I went with this one because it did not disappoint. And its canvas fabric is just as expected. The other two fabrics didn't look quite right. One looked too thin and the other one looks silky. That was not what I was looking for. I was trying to match some outdoor canvas fabric chairs and this is a near match. You would have to look at the fabrics under a magnifying glass to see the difference!
July 16, 2021
The quality of this umbrella is very low. I returned my initial purchase because the fabric at the top of the umbrella was not connected to the base. The replacement arrived with poor stitching and threads hanging all over the place. When I attempted to assemble the two pieces (they just slide together), I realized one of the poles was bent significantly where the poles attach. I would suggest trying a different brand.

The media could not be loaded. Just buy it already!!!Amazing Umbrella, Amazing Customer Service!Absolutely outstanding customer service! I am SO happy I finally bought this umbrella! Great value as well considering umbrellas of this size and quality are going for $500-$700!We encountered an assembly error when we put the umbrella up. It was SO hard to crank open and once we got it open, we could not close it. I emailed the customer service email for help. Customer service had replied back apologizing profusely and ready to send a replacement. They were asking for pictures of the umbrella so they can see what was going on with the umbrella.I was inspecting the umbrella and saw that when we attached the umbrella together, the cord that opens the umbrella had managed to get wrapped around the secure pin at the top of the umbrella. Once we got it loose, it worked like a dream! As smooth as butter! We have secured it to our deck and it’s working great! If you’re not securing it to your deck, you will need to purchase the weighted base, sold separately. It is way too top heavy to not be secured to anything. It’s pretty user friendly once you get the hang of it. Just make sure not to have it near a window or near your house when you’re learning how to raise it and open it. For reference, I am 5’4” and have to stand on my tip toes to be able to open it. See video.Absolutely love it! Best part is I can enjoy my deck with no sun in my eyes! If you’ve made it this far then just buy it already!UPDATE: It’s been 3 months since we’ve had this umbrella and it is by far my most favorite and BEST value purchase so far this summer! It has weathered many storms and I’m not sure if this is a safety feature or not but a huge super cell came through and the umbrella closed up on its own! Keep in mind I do have it screwed into my deck. Seriously just buy it! You won’t be sorry. 😊

07/14/2020 UPDATED REVIEW: The CEO of Wikiwiki contacted me so quickly after my 7/5 updated review. He apologized, explained the construction improvements to the hinge (that broke on my umbrella) after my initial purchase, and without hesitation told me he was sending me a new umbrella at no cost to me. WOW! I am so impressed with this company and their customer service. I received the replacement umbrella - it's already up and ready to go in my yard. Thanks again to the CEO for providing me with exceptional customer service!07/05/2020 UPDATED REVIEW: the umbrella has been great...but not anymore. Regardless of the umbrella’s position (fully open and perpendicular to the ground or angled), I just discovered a severe crack in the hinge/joint where the vertical pole and the arched pole intersect. The crack is so bad it’s just a matter of time before it will be unusable. I am SO DISAPPOINTED! The hinge/joint is plastic - perhaps that’s the problem. I don't know, but a 10ft umbrella should have more robust parts! I purchased this in May - only lasted 2 months. Grrrr!!! Added photo to show the crackUPDATED REVIEW: Upon my negative review, the company (Wikiwiki) contacted me. They appreciated my recommendation to revise their advertisement to clearly call out the separate base needed and indicated they are working to make that adjustment. They also reminded me of the shipping delays due to cover 19, which I appreciate. They were very generous and customer service – focused. While I am still waiting for the separate bass that I ordered to fully utilize the umbrella, I am confident it will work fine and the umbrella will be just what I wanted. Thanks to the Wikiwiki company for their amazing customer service!ORIGINAL REVIEW: This umbrella is advertised “as is” meaning you don’t need anything else. Even the pictures show the umbrella standing upright, umbrella fully open, with the X base supporting it. Wrong! You need to purchase a separate base at a cost of $100 to support the umbrella being fully open. In small print I discovered that after I purchased the umbrella and set it up. I was disheartened that the manufacturer did not clearly advertise that the umbrella would not work until you bought the separate base.It took 8 days to get the umbrella. And it will take another 11 days to get the base. I find that shipping time to be ridiculous. I actually ordered the base on April 27, and it hasn’t even been shipped yet and today is May 4.

We had an issue with our umbrella the second use- the small plastic piece near the lock snapped. I reached out to the company to see if they could send a replacement part and explained it was an accident and how could we work together to fix it. I included a photo with my message and a few hours later I had a response from the company. They generously offered to send a new umbrella! Their customer service rep- I believe Jeremy was so understanding and went above and beyond my ask. The replacement umbrella arrives quickly so we can enjoy our outdoor patio all day long. I was so impressed with their customer service you just don’t see dedication to do right by the product and the consumer every day.The umbrella itself is very easy to set up. It’s a very heavy umbrella and may need two people to get it set up. The base can be used with several types of weights. I opted for a sand bag weight because the patio we have is stone and felt sand weights would work best. So far so good!

The physics of this set up just did not seem to work; the umbrella is like a fully-unfurled sail on the ocean. Even with weights on the bottom, and inserted into a table, it falls over in any kind of moderate breeze. I’m going to try putting it in a heavier table; but I have to buy the table 1st. That wasn’t in my original plan.

★ Unique 3tier design: The 3tiers design allows the wind to move quickly through the top of the umbrella.Such a design increases the stability of the umbrella and makes it cooler under the umbrella. ...
Very sturdy and well built frame, but fabric FADES!!! After 3-4 weeks in the sun in March this originally green umbrella is almost white. If we wanted a white umbrella we wouldn’t have bought a green one. Even if it had stayed green for 6 months to a year we may have been ok with this $80+ umbrella. It also has a steel pole that will most likely rust- should have looked into that too and opted for an aluminum one. For $25 more we are already replacing this umbrella with a green one with sumbrella non-fade 5 year guarantee and an aluminum pole. Hurts to learn the hard way and throw $80 away. Wish manufacturer guaranteed this original one against quickly fading.

The lights are working, though they are not super bright. They are bright enough to light the table and see each other at night, not bright enough to light up the patio or deck like LED lights. We use it over a 6 x 3 table and it provides shade for all. What I do like about this umbrella is that it has not blown away, or attempted to blow away. We put a screw through the heavy base holder (not included) and the bottom of the umbrella. We did this to our other umbrellas, but they would still blow over and take the table down with them. The winds on our deck can get pretty crazy sometimes, but this one has stood up to it so far. We keep it slightly below it's full height so the wind can blow through it and it has been working pretty well! The color is nice. The fabric is kind of thin and there were several threads hanging that needed to be trimmed, but overall, it does what it is supposed to do, is fairly lightweight and the price was very reasonable for an umbrella with lights, vents and that tilts as needed to block the sun! The construction seems pretty solid. We like it very much and are considering purchasing another one.

First, the (only) positive is that this is as BIG umbrella and just what we wanted and provides good shade from the sun. Now for the not-so-good things...Umbrella is pretty unstable and rocks about a lot. The three-tiered canopy seems like a good idea, but some of the material on the layers gets caught up when opening it up and one of the straps was broken. No big deal, but a pain nonetheless. Also, the biggest and main downside for us, it is NOT waterproof!! All umbrellas I have owned in the past have been, so it was a surprise when we found out that this umbrella wasn't. This is a big problem for us since we like to sit outside a lot, even if there is a passing rain shower.I would not buy this again.

This is the prettiest umbrella. I wanted one with solar lights and this is perfect. Color sky blue is lovely. Mechanism works great! I thought it wouldn’t light until I realized I had to take off the top of solar panel and plug the two parts together then put the cap back on. Voila! Works like a charm! Highly recommend!

Have had my umbrella 5 days now AND LOVE IT!!! The apple green color is deep and fabric appears especially durable! Came assembled and packaged well! 8 spokes and pole appear study and well made! Just had to open solar panel, make the quick connection, make sure light switch was in the off position (o), place it n the bistro table and let the sun do its thing. Charged very quickly. These pics were taken the day it arrived.
