I was so happy to find a gray umbrella, because they are hard to find. I was happy to see that the umbrella was also fairly inexpensive. Well, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! Yes, it was assembled, right out of the box. I already had a base. (It does not come with one) It cranked open smoothly, and looked pretty for about two hours. A wind of no more than 5mph (I checked the Weather channel) came through the yard, and the umbrella broke apart like it was made of toothpicks. I was so disappointed. Especially since I was in the middle of entertaining outside, that day. Spend a little extra and get a quality umbrella.

The media could not be loaded. My old umbrella ripped and was pretty old, where I found this one, square design and lights was exactly the thing and had to get it. I was not disappointed, this umbrella works great. First off, easy one two piece out of the box, the whole umbrella and a sleeve that goes from the umbrella to a stand. Thirty seconds later it was together and working including the lights. Secondly, it is really well made, good cloth, very heavy duty frame and rolls up and down easily too. The one button tilt is really nice for cutting out the light when the sun comes up in the morning. Lastly, it is solid, however, light enough to take down and put away for the winter without busting my back. I really like that where I like to keep everything put away during the winter to keep my outdoor yard furniture safe. No cons, it really worked out great for me, where I am very happy with the purchase.

I am reviewing:ABCCANOPY 9' diameter, Patio, Table, Market, Umbrella with 8 Ribs, Push Button Tilt, and Turquoise Canopy for Garden, Deck, Backyard, and Pool. Purchase price $42.95So far, I am very pleased. The umbrella arrived well packed with the carton intact. (Amazon driver said he left in the mailbox 🤣 I don’t think so.) I hefted it to the backyard where it was very easy to unpack though I was surprised at how heavy it was. It is much sturdier and heavier than the one I replaced. The pole is bigger. I had to switch umbrella stands because it did not fit in the one I was using with the old umbrella.The umbrella is 8’ tall including the finial. The The two pole pieces fit together easily but snuggly. The crank mechanism worked beautifully. I like the 8 sturdy metal ribs that spread the canopy very nicely. The height beneath the tip of the ribs when fully open is 6’3”. The canopy is beautiful. It’s thick enough for my needs in a California beach town. There is an attached tie to secure the canopy when closed.The tilt mechanism worked well once I realized you have to wiggle it into the exact right position before you can push the button. I’m a little worried about the reviews that say their umbrella snapped at the tilt mechanism. I’m hoping they were not reviewing this model. This one does not look like it will do that, but I may just have to commit to lowering the canopy whenever I go inside for the day.Now I just have to wait for the solar lights I purchased to arrive. If anything untoward happens, I will add an update.

The media could not be loaded. I was nervous after reading several negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised upon its arrival. There were no broken parts and it was incredibly easy to assemble. We had it out of the box and assembled in under 5 minutes. We purchased a heavy base knowing how windy it can get on a daily basis and with that we have had no problems. We just roll it down when the wind gusts are over 20mph.We are pleased with our purchase and definitely feel that it was worth the money. If you too, are concerned by the negative reviews I would say give it a try. Be smart with your purchase, add a sturdy base and roll it down when it gets extra windy.

I got this several months ago and wanted to wait to see how it held up to the elements. I've been real pleased with the sturdiness of the product with the high winds I get, and even with summer's dust and pollen, the solar panel is still working to power the lights. The lights really give off an great, clear, but unobtrusive illumination. Sufficient to hang out with friends or read a book, not so bright as to annoy the neighbors. Only complaint is the fabric fades from too much direct sunlight. I bought the tan, so all shades of it are acceptable to my space.

We've only used this a few times. Today is not a particularly windy day but this umbrella's METAL snapped and shattered a pot with a 3 yr old gogi berry in it and hit my new arborvitae. Super upset right now and expect a refund or new one sent out asap. This umbrella already had a piece of plastic broken when it arrived that I should have told seller about. My mistake.

Update. Down to 4 stars- I still really like it but the cantilever locking mechanism slides down when it gets hot out.I have seen a couple reviews where they complain about the base, but if you are just going to build it into a wall (what I did) or put it in concrete in the ground this is the one. And honestly if I may suggest--skip the $500 ones and pay someone to install it. Mine is in the wall, collared at the top so it can't come out, resting on the base so it can swivel 360 degrees. If I didn't have a handy wall, I'd have put it in concrete in the ground but in that case I'd be more limited in my swivel.Cheap, sturdy, easy to use, the lights are built into the rails, and they stay on all night from a charge.Reasons it doesn't get 5 overall (the solar panel is really hard to put in (enough that I was worried I would break it putting it in) and the color is off. I ordered Maroon, and its closer to Ferrari red. Shrug. When the material dies in the AZ sun I'll pick a fabric in the exact color I want and use the frame.

Suggestion when you buy this item buy the base at the same time also a cover to protect from the elements, and you may want to consider other items with more powerful lightbulbs, my current one is very low dim!

The media could not be loaded. Replacing and umbrella that got destroyed in a windstorm. Looked very similar but this feels a bit more sturdy. I love the options of the solar lights to give you some light at night- just connect at the top and will soak up the sun all day. A crank and the ability to tilt in a must for me for umbrellas which this has. My last did not have the ability to tie when closed which is great cause it does get awfully windy here and that keeps it intact. Pole is very easy to assemble and just has two pole parts that click together with a metal peg.

Great value as well considering umbrellas of this size and quality are going for $500-$700!We encountered an assembly error when we put the umbrella up. It was SO hard to crank open and once we got it open, we could not close it. I emailed the customer service email for help. Customer service had replied back apologizing profusely and ready to send a replacement. They were asking for pictures of the umbrella so they can see what was going on with the umbrella.I was inspecting the umbrella and saw that when we attached the umbrella together, the cord that opens the umbrella had managed to get wrapped around the secure pin at the top of the umbrella. Once we got it loose, it worked like a dream! As smooth as butter!We have secured it to our deck and it’s working great! If you’re not securing it to your deck, you will need to purchase the weighted base, sold separately. It is way too top heavy to not be secured to anything.It’s pretty user friendly once you get the hang of it. Just make sure not to have it near a window or near your house when you’re learning how to raise it and open it. For reference, I am 5’4” and have to stand on my tip toes to be able to open it. See video.Absolutely love it! Best part is I can enjoy my deck with no sun in my eyes! If you’ve made it this far then just buy it already!UPDATE: It’s been 3 months since we’ve had this umbrella and it is by far my most favorite and BEST value purchase so far this summer! It has weathered many storms and I’m not sure if this is a safety feature or not but a huge super cell came through and the umbrella closed up on its own! He apologized, explained the construction improvements to the hinge (that broke on my umbrella) after my initial purchase, and without hesitation told me he was sending me a new umbrella at no cost to me. WOW! I am so impressed with this company and their customer service. I received the replacement umbrella - it's already up and ready to go in my yard. Thanks again to the CEO for providing me with exceptional customer service!07/05/2020 UPDATED REVIEW: the umbrella has been great...but not anymore. Regardless of the umbrella’s position (fully open and perpendicular to the ground or angled), I just discovered a severe crack in the hinge/joint where the vertical pole and the arched pole intersect. The crack is so bad it’s just a matter of time before it will be unusable. I am SO DISAPPOINTED! The hinge/joint is plastic - perhaps that’s the problem. I don't know, but a 10ft umbrella should have more robust parts! I purchased this in May - only lasted 2 months. Grrrr!!! They appreciated my recommendation to revise their advertisement to clearly call out the separate base needed and indicated they are working to make that adjustment. Even the pictures show the umbrella standing upright, umbrella fully open, with the X base supporting it. Wrong! You need to purchase a separate base at a cost of $100 to support the umbrella being fully open. In small print I discovered that after I purchased the umbrella and set it up. I was disheartened that the manufacturer did not clearly advertise that the umbrella would not work until you bought the separate base.It took 8 days to get the umbrella. And it will take another 11 days to get the base. I find that shipping time to be ridiculous. I actually ordered the base on April 27, and it hasn’t even been shipped yet and today is May 4.

We had an issue with our umbrella the second use- the small plastic piece near the lock snapped. I reached out to the company to see if they could send a replacement part and explained it was an accident and how could we work together to fix it. I included a photo with my message and a few hours later I had a response from the company. They generously offered to send a new umbrella! Their customer service rep- I believe Jeremy was so understanding and went above and beyond my ask. The replacement umbrella arrives quickly so we can enjoy our outdoor patio all day long. I was so impressed with their customer service you just don’t see dedication to do right by the product and the consumer every day.The umbrella itself is very easy to set up. It’s a very heavy umbrella and may need two people to get it set up. The base can be used with several types of weights. I opted for a sand bag weight because the patio we have is stone and felt sand weights would work best. So far so good!

I wish I could give this product 4.5 stars (or even 5 stars if it would get as much attention for the slight detractors it has) because it really is a great product and great value for the price.The 7.5' umbrella is a great size on our smaller size patio and the green color is lovely and feels true to what we saw in the pictures. The angle feature works easily and feels sturdy as it latches into place when straight upright or tilted in either direction. We haven't had much wind in our area since having it so I don't know about how well it stands up to that yet.We're very picky about the tone of light in our home (prefer warm light to white light) and were concerned about the LED lights being too blue, but they turned out to be perfect. They illuminate everything in a soft and even blue glow that feels more like moon or starlight than your typical bright and harsh LED blue light. Pictures attached for brightness reference.The crank function to open and close the umbrella works well but is the only reason I did detract 1 star. When opening the umbrella, the rope which moves the umbrella support catches slightly on the button which tilts the umbrella. Only a slight annoyance and easily fixed once we figured it out. When closing the umbrella though, the rope seems to have been coiling back on itself (inside of the umbrella shaft) if we don't help to move the support down by hand as we continue to crank the umbrella down. Again, only a slight annoyance once we figured it out but it stands worth mentioning for anyone shopping for a new umbrella (and hopefully save some confusion and having to figure it out on your own for anyone who does choose this umbrella). It would also be nice if it came with a cover for storage, but I'm sure we can find something that will fit/work for it.I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again!

I couldn’t be more pleased with this umbrella. I assembled it with three clicks, and now my humble urban balcony is a delightful tiki jungle resort. The umbrella is incredibly sturdy (I didn’t buy a stand for it, btw; I just stuck it through the hole in my patio table into a planter pot) and looks just as good as, if not better than, umbrellas folks pay hundreds for. The color (I got the burgundy) is bold and true to the photo. And the solar lights are long-lasting and impressively bright. Super easy and sturdy crank. Durable velcro closure with just one wrap-around. And the stand TILTS!Props, also, to the reviewer here who noted that the solar mechanism is packed in the bottom of the box. That probably saved me a good 10 minutes of puzzling.Absolutely 1000000% recommend this product. It’s not just good for the price—it’s worth every penny I paid and more.

This umbrella is an excellent choice, for the size and the price, the LED lighting is a bonus. The lighting is very nice as well, not overly bright, but a warm soft white that illuminates the area very comfortably. Very happy with this purchase.

Update: Three years later I forgot to tighten the screw on the base. Left it in the up position overnight and strong winds lifted it up and out of the table. Busted. Will be buying another. The light and battery still work great! This is a great value. I leave it outside and only bring it into the garage over the winter months.Original review below:I paid $200 for a 11' version at Home Depot. It was destroyed in a wind storm. Picked this on up to replace it for nearly 1/4 the cost.... and it has a cool light. So far so good.

First light breeze tore every end wide open and let the support rods loose. As soon as they started flapping the main support pole bent in half causing them to crash down and break both of my glass top tables. Bought 2 of these and in less than 10 days are garbage alongside the shattered tables.

Received in a timely manner, assembly a snap. However, the solar lights did not work. Tried several things but nothing. I contacted the company, and within a few days, a new solar attachment was received and it works fine. Company was told there was a problem and they fixed it "immediately" without any fanfare. Really appreciate that.

Box arrived, we set it up, all quite easy.Put it outside through the center of the table & locked it in place.LED's work well, its construction is fairly sturdy, BUT..... the lovely forest green umbrella we purchasedfaded to pale blue within 20 days & continues to do so. I suspect by the end of summer it will be very close towhite.For this reason alone I don't recommend it even though it is well built.I'll give it 2 stars simply because the LED's work it charges up well & is fairly solid construction, not at all worth what they are asking for it price wise.Just for comparison our supermarket 39$ umbrella didn't fade until halfway through its second summer.But 20 Days??, that's just pure BS!!!If aesthetics count for you don't touch this thing with a barge pole....If it were priced at say, $39.99 might be worth it otherwise keep scrolling & searching. Good luck!UPDATE:1 LED's stopped working several weeks ago2 The crank cord for raising & lowering the umbrella snapped. So we got this one because we did not want to spend too much, and end up with the wrong size or one that only lasted for one year and have to buy again. We have been pleasantly surprised. The crank up/down mechanism seems much more sturdy that we expected given the cost. The material is thick enough to hold out the sun during our Florida early summer heat---it's been over 90 several days already. We store it in the down position, but sitting in our umbrella stand outside on the porch in the sun.I'd recommend this one to anyone. Right now, I think we are going to get multiple years out of it--I don't see any wear on it at all and we've been using it for a couple months or so, but only crank it up/down every couple of weeks so far given the weather. It seems to be an inch or two smaller than advertised in diameter, but it works for the space. There is a stop to keep you from cranking it too high--seems nothing will happen to that. My guess is that the first thing to go will be whatever is inside that pulls it up, but you can't see that. The pole itself looks nice and classy enough to pass by anywhere. It fits inside our standard diameter umbrella stand.

We ordered this umbrella on July 1st, and less than 3 weeks later it's broken in half. The umbrella itself is in great condition, and the lights work. There is a small metal "button" where the upper and lower half of the umbrella pole connects, and that little metal button broke. I don't know if this is normal for others or just a faulty umbrella. Otherwise, the solar panel is fine and the button to turn the lights on and off works great, the color is a pretty summer aqua that looks great. Just need to get a better way to attach both ends of this umbrella pole together.

Bought this to replace an old market umbrella that lasted a good 8 years. So this has big shoes to fill. Right out of the box, the quality is excellent. A good mix of metal for sturdiness and plastic where necessary. It was packed really well, nothing broken or scratched. This is HEAVY so make sure you have weights. We use patio pavers to weight it down. The lights work perfectly and it was a nice touch to have the solar option or battery. Everything is really well made. Worth every penny.Our only complain is that the directions are HORRIBLE. We had to disassemble just about every piece and redo it because the instructions were so unclear. Make sure you have two people to assemble.

Very nice umbrella and easy to put together. Took a while to receive it but is wort the wait so far. Works very smoothly and the lights are great. It is top heavy and you will need the base for it.

My husband put this together by himself, easy assembly but very heavy! You definitely need the weights to place on the feet. It will not stand on its own! We purchased the 4 piece weights from Amazon that clip around the feet and you put water or sand in them. The solar lights are an added extra we didn’t know we couldn’t live without. We are the talk of the town. The umbrella looks like a UFO on our deck, so cars slow down on our back road to check it out. That’s a win!

I thought my solar lights did not work. Reading the reviews I found other people complained of this. THEN, I read one review that shared if they do not work, uncover the solar panel battery ( easy twist off) and connect the plug inside. Replace the the cover and voila, they lights worked even though it is very sunny. Whoever wrote that original review, I send you applause and a big thanks. I guess some came connected and others do not. It should come with instructions just in case.

This snapped after the first wind gust. I had it 3 weeks. I have always tied the umbrella arms to an adjacent tree, and it's always worked. My old umbrellas lasted many years. This one lasted 3 weeks due to much thinner base tube wall thickness. I'm disappointed because I like the lights with switch. In the photos you might be able to see the wind load transmits thru a very small cross-sectional area of the cast tilt adjustment hinge down to the base. And the base is not much thicker than a soup can so it fails as you would expect. Very disappointed.

This umbrella seemed to be well made, but looks can be deceiving. I bough it in April 2019 and used it 1 summer. I always took care of it like every umbrella i've owned. I have a cover for it when it's not open and when it's closed it always had a bunge around it to keep the wind from opening it. I just went out to put the umbrella down and cushions inside and the whole umbrella pole snapped in half right where the tilt button is!! There was zero wind today! I am so disappointed... i loved the look of it and the lights on it but none of that matters if the pole is made of cheap pott metal/plastic. What a waste of money. Other umbrellas of had usually last 3 or 4 years at least, as long as you take care of them.

The package is really heavy, strong delivery person! Brought the pieces out, assembled easily. Just as described, but better -- the umbrella portion is lightweight, makes nice shade. The solar lights are great, not glaring. The base takes up some space (29" square) but it's not unattractive, cover is tailored. You will need sand for the sandbags, we went to local rockery and got 6 25-pound bags, easier to handle. Overall, we couldn't be happier!

The screw to keep it from turning broke right away, but we adjusted and were able to fix it. Several weeks ago, something snapped on inside of handle. Umbrella won't go up anymore. Contacted seller yesterday, of course we waited too late to handle the situation because the year came up a month ago! So they won't send replacement parts. Would be fine if this umbrella was under $100, but around $250, should last at least 3 years without any issues. Definitely not worth it.

Where do I begin? This patio umbrella is everything and more than I wished for. I am so glad that I did my research prior to.the purchase and got the correct base that goes with this umbrella. We needed shade on our patio because it is full sun from sunrise to sunset. We looked at pergolas, but they would require a permanent fixture to the patio got the supports at we are not sure if we are going to put in a hot tub too, so this was the perfect option. Plus there are no installation fees, and it is about ¼ the cost of a pergola. If you are thinking of getting one of these umbrellas, I highly recommend getting one with matching base. It is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and an exceptional value for your money. Very well designed & built. When this one finally wears out, I will be getting g another one. We got the 9'x12' and we LOVE IT!

This is my 4th umbrella in 25 years. I decided to splurge and by a higher end model. I purchased the PURPLE LEAF 10' x 13' foot umbrella. My deck is 20' x 12' feet and this umbrella covered the area above the table perfectly, and kept the sun neutralized. The quality is superb. Both the fabric, metal crank gears, tension cables and pole were above and beyond what expected in durability and strength. The metal post and umbrella stand are very thick metal. Overall a very solid unit. Everything about this umbrella is top notch.I also purchased the matching base, PURPLE LEAF Offset Umbrella Base Cantilever Umbrella Base, 330 pounds 39" x 39". It was extremely easy to assemble, attach the umbrella stand with 4 bolts to the base, filled base with water(no need for sand, is unmovable", slide the umbrella onto the base, tighten final bolt to stand, done.I'm very happy with the look and quality. I would buy this product again.

I never write reviews but I am so irritated with this. I searched for a while and settled on this umbrella I thought it would be great the reviews are pretty good but as soon as I got it assembled noticed that the latch to adjust the umbrella to the different settings is broken. What an utter inconvenience this is. I still would like to have this umbrella but I have lost every bit of confidence in this product. The latch is plastic it should’ve been metal. Plastic breaks. Metal will last much longer. Not sure why the handle trigger mechanism is made of plastic knowing that it’s some point in time it will fail. Bad thing about me is that it failed on the first use. Now I’m waiting to figure out how I’m going to be inconvenienced even more to try to return the umbrella

I had previously purchased $150 umbrellas for our mountain vacation home, and every few years, we would have to replace them because some short-term renters (and sometimes our cleaning crew) forget to close them when they leave. This resulted in the wind knocking them over and ripping their fabrics apart.My wife's old house used to have them too, and even though they were closed after each use, their cloth still fell apart after 5 or so years. This time, we wanted to help my parents choose something much sturdier for their newly-remodeled backyard but without spending the $800+ that brand names charge. The reviews for Jearey had generally been good.It has been 7 months and the umbrella is still in great condition. Promising.The base was not included. We purchased one that accepts a 2" pole and filled it with sand to weigh it down.

Going on year 3, this umbrella has held up quite well IMO. I purchased 2 different ones the same year. The other one, same color, from Ace Hardware, started to fade before the end of the summer year 1 and the wooden pole broke in the wind at the end of year 2. This one from Sunny daze gets near daily use Summer and sporadically in Spring and Fall. Lights have worked everytime and the pole is as sturdy and Day 1. There is some slight fading on the fabric which as I recall, didn't become noticeable until the end of year 2. I included photos; I hope it shows but it is very slight.

I was so excited when this umbrella arrived.The color, though not what I ordered, was a nice dark blue, the material was surprisingly high quality and it looked well-made. I could not wait to assemble this and try out the lights...until I searched through the box and found the solar panel was missing, then realized the all-important pole also was missing.So the umbrella as I received it was unfortunately useless. I have had to return it. Maybe I just had bad luck...I still recommend this though, it would make a nice complement to any patio or back-yard and I am sure it would outlast many of the others that I considered.

I repurchased this umbrella after the first one was damaged in a big storm. I really liked the quality of the original and was looking forward to opening another. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The umbrella material itself feels much cheaper and thinner than our first one. In fact, a small gust of wind happened to take this one out if it's holder and toss it. Do now after only a few months of owning it, this one is broken.I guess it's time to switch brands.

This umbrella was easy to put together. Unfortunately, it arrived broken. The outside umbrella cap came out of the box completely removed from the umbrella. We superglued it, but it seems unlikely to stay. It also has holes in the canopy. Because we waited for a nice day to put it together, we are outside the return window, which is less than a month!Update: Bluu contacted us via email, apologized that the product had broken during transit, and, despite being outside the return window, understood our dilemma and offered to replace the umbrella or to refund our purchase entirely. Their customer service was responsive, professional, and appreciated.

The media could not be loaded. The shade is amazing - super thick and sturdy. It is the frame of the umbrella that is not very stable. It creaks from side to side in the slightest breeze and makes me think one of the arms will break in a stronger breeze. I'm not afraid it will topple over because we bought the weights for the base, it's the heavy umbrella where it doesn't seem the arms are strong enough to keep it steady... The media could not be loaded. I love this umbrella. I also bought the BLUU 4 pc 230 lbs Water & Sand Weighted Base... so it won't tip over when it's windy. I am temporarily using it over my pond until we get some trees planted to shade the pond on sunny days.I LOVE the fact the base turns which was super helpful in the limited space I have on one side of my pond. I also think the tilting positions is great it is super easy to maneuver. I have four other outdoor umbrellas and this is my favorite. The features alone make it worth every penny, and it is sturdy and looks like the material will last a white.I highly recommend this umbrella. I have had it for about a week and a half and had the weighted base for almost a week. The weighted base is great. I filled mine with sand, but if needed I will add water to make them a little heaver. I recommend the base if you aren't going to put something in the legs of the unbrella stand to hold it to the ground. I bought another companies base, but it didn't work well for this umbrella for what I needed.In the video you can see it was windy and the base doesn't move at all. I filled the base with sand.

There were no directions with this product only a picture with dimensions. Went online to find instructions, here to only a picture. Where ever it is placed there has to be enough room for one to get behind to crank the umbrella into position. If you are short, you will need something to stand on. Other than that the umbrella looks great.

This is a great umbrella. it was easy to put together and get set up. I like how it opens and can tilt to get the sun out. Its easy to open with the handle. Its has a good canvas materials and it's very durable and sturdy. we are going to put this on the patio near the pool. I like that we can move it where we want it. This is a fantastic umbrella! It is quite durable. I like this champagne in color 11 FT. We are quite pleased with our purchase. It was simple to assemble. The hardware operates nicely and is simple to set up and take down. The shade material is quite durable. This umbrella is fantastic! Durable on windy days. I used a combination of sand and water to make the base sturdy enough for this 11 foot wide umbrella! The base is solid, but it isn't meant to be used to support sand or water. I can spin the shade almost entirely around in a 360-degree circle before latching into one of the teeth thanks to the foot pedal. The bags inside the base are composed of thick green rubber and can hold sands. I choose to begin by placing sand into the green bag and then some play weight sand. The two green bags contain clips to bind them securely around the pole before placing the two cover pieces back on top. We don't move it very frequently, but it is heavy. This huge cantilever patio umbrella's pole is made of upgraded extra-thick aluminum, which makes it lighter while improving strength and longevity. It comes with a foundation and a sand bag. Please fill the foundation with sand to provide stability. In comparison to other umbrella bases on the market, The bases incorporate a pedal that regulates the aluminum rod's 360° rotation. The crank lift mechanism allows for quick opening and closing of the umbrella. The inclination angle is greater than that of contemporary patio umbrellas on the market. I am happy with this patio umbrella. Loves it it give me instant shade.
